All you can eat crab legs for $33.. Yes, please! The fried oysters, fried shrimp, scallops, peel and eat shrimp and chicken strips were great! The baked cod and other baked fish (forgot was it was) was over baked. The cheesecake tasted burnt. We had a party of 7 and didn't wait long for a table. I recommend coming about 5 or 5:30.. When we were leaving about 6 the place was filling up fast and there was a wait. The service is good. I believe that $16 for a 10-year-old was pricey but all in all we had a good experience.

Just plain horrible. All the food was lukewarm. If you want to spend $33.00 on crab legs go ahead. The drink is not even included in the price. Place looked old and outdated. Would not recommend at all.

Not impressed. Lunch is $9.99 and not worth it. There are better options at Pier Park and some have an ocean view.

Bishops is a place we usually stop at for some crab legs while on vacation. Bishops does a really good job keeping the crab legs full on the bar. Staff is always friendly. The only issue I have is paying $33 a person. I feel I get my money's worth but others in my family don't eat crab legs and they are forced to pay the same price as me. But I will be back!!!

You strictly go here for the crab legs buffet. We went as a party of eight and everyone had a enjoyable experience. The service was great, our drinks were never empty and when the plate of crab shells was full, she immediately replaced it with a new one. The other food on the buffet was ok at best but the crab legs are great and they never ran out. Oh and the blondie brownie was amazing! Worth the $33 per person

Our group came by Bishop's buffet since the hotel we were staying at recommended it. We called and asked about the wait on a Sunday night and was told there wasn't any and our party of 8 were seated almost immediately. We headed to the bar which was honestly, quite small compared to the buffets up here in Atlanta. The assortment to choose from included (previously bagged) salad, mashed potatoes, brown spaghetti, some deviled crabs, breaded and fried shrimp etc. The real reason why I wanted a buffet dinner was for the AYCE crab legs. The first few batches the kitchen brought out were not good. They weren't very clean, nor was the meat any good. However, as the dinner hour rolled on, they brought out fresher crab legs. Although they weren't as flavorful as I like or am used to, it was still fairly decent for an AYCE joint. Our waitress was great at keeping the drinks topped off and clearing plates so that was definitely a plus. if you go, go for the crab and bypass all the other questionable items.

Cab legs good, but everything else not good!! So if you want to spend 33$ on just crab legs your in the right place. Over priced, awful bar food (except crab legs) dirty feeling like the place was not too clean. Do not recommend.

came here for labor day weekend. We asked a hotel employee where was a good place to go for some All you can eat crabs and they recommended bishops. I came here for the crabs and I did crab myself out when I was there but most of the other food on the buffet line up was mediocre at best. The crabs were pretty salty and legs weren't full of meat when cracked open in the beginning but towards the end of our meal they got better... not so salty..almost sweet and legs were full with meat. I heard Capt jacks which was further away owened by the same people had better buffet... I wish I had driven the extra 10-15miles.. after all I drove 300mile plus from atlanta to come to PCB and have some good seafood.. talk about good seafood and food period... check out Dee's hangout.. I will be reviewing that place too right after this but that place was so so worth it..

Great crab legs!!! Service was awesome! My only complaint would be they need some more seasoning on their boiled shrimp. Great atmosphere and good prices.

If you don't like seafood don't go to a seafood buffet. The buffet bar was full of traditional seafood, and everything tasted good. The crab legs were AWESOME & FRESH! Great service. We'd come here again. Good job.

Blech. The "best" seafood buffet in a coastal resort is this? I agree with other reviewers... The only reason to go here is for all you can eat crab legs. Other than that, the buffet selection is very limited, and awful. Unless you're planning on eating $30+ worth of crab legs, don't go. The spaghetti really is brown, by the way. Russian waitress was attentive and sweet. Wait staff chatting together spoke inappropriately, an within earshot of my kids, and the manager was super grumpy and unprofessional. Have you ever been to a classy, wonderful seafood buffet? This is the nasty dive version. Fail. I can't wait to take my husband to Captain George's in Virginia Beach; he will be amazed how fabulous a quality seafood buffet is.

Went for lunch and they were kind enough to let us in before they were done setting up (thanks alot). The selection was kind of limited, but I think it was just because it was lunch. However, what they did have was reeeeeaaaallly yummy. Very home cooked, southern, momma made it sort of food and taste. It was a great treat after eating so much fast food and generic seafood around the area. (not dissing seafood but you know how it is a dime a dozen in this town) Over all the quality was good for a buffet. Great value if you've spent too much money. I think it was 10 or 11 a person vs 20 a plate elsewhere for less food. 5 stars for service and food. good luck guys

This place is ok. Not going to bash them and not going to say it the best experience I've ever had either. Service was pretty good. Gumbo was too salty. Crab legs are the real deal, but I've been told there are better places for crab legs. I will find out since I'm here for the weekend.

Whenever I visit Panama City, I always treat my family to this restaurant before we depart back to Georgia. This is one of the best restaurant in comparison to value and quality. For the price of thirty dollars of each adult, we ate snow crabs, fresh fried oyster, fried scallop, several shrimp entree, etc. To eat this type of food elsewhere would be too costly. I honestly don't understand all the negative reviews and experience. I feel that they are nearby restaurant owners who are bashing this great seafood buffet restaurant.

Was in PCB with a friend and we went here on a recommendation from a local. I mean, we wanted seafood and that part was pretty decent. However, the buffet is NOT worth $30 for dinner. The crab legs were really good and plentiful. They brought them out quite frequently. They had various other fried seafood and that was good too. They had what was called Jambalaya and Gumbo....not! I'm a cajun, so I'm not sure what they were trying to pawn off as Jambalaya, but that wasn't it! The other food on the buffet was just ok. Like I said, I think for $30, I was truly expecting some fabulous food. Should be $19.99 at best....but like we said, it was right on the beach and very touristy, so people will pay $30 for dinner. As long as people will pay it, they will charge it!

Upon walking in the decor is not impressive. But the staff was warm and welcoming. It was busy which is a good sign of at least decent food. Most of the food was average, but I will say that the crab legs were amazing. If I had though about it more we would have starved the whole day to fill up on those legs....and for $30.... I would recommend holding out the day you go to get your monies worth. Over all, I do think the crab legs and other sea food was worth the meal. It was a good family place too. We didn't have to worry about the bar crowd.

Saw several advertisements for this restaurant in PCB magazines and we decided to bring the group for lunch. 3 adults, 3 children in our party. Prices were a bit on the high side for a buffet but was expected due to their proximity to the beach and being in a tourist area. That being said, the food was pretty awful. The spaghetti was in a very dark brown (brown?!) sauce, the boiled fish was rubber, chicken tenders were dried up, the "Jambalaya" had sausage that actually made me gag at the table upon eating it. The meatballs in the Sweet & Sour Meatballs were two distinct varieties. One was dried out and hard and the other was waterlogged from sitting in the sauce. Overall, the food frankly tasted very old as if it it wasn't even made that day, much less sitting out for an hour or two. The dessert wasn't much better. The rice crispy treats were stale and the key lime pie cake was just bad. The chocolate pudding with cookie crumbles and banana pudding were passable but definitely tasted like they were made from a box or from a can. In fact, everything here tasted like it was out of a can or box. Maybe I'm just a bit spoiled from eating at Golden Corral, who has definitely perfected the self-service buffet but I'm sad to say that I can't really give this restaurant any props at all for their food. I will say our waiter, George was very friendly and I really felt badly for him as I know he had to hear the unhappy comments coming from our table and others. This is a meal I'd love to forget but I have a feeling this will be one of those "remember that awful restaurant?" stories we get to share. My advice? Steer clear!

Terrible. Definitely not worth the $12 you're going to spend at lunch. Mediocre Buffett. Nothing fresh. Overcooked. Not good.

Decent American buffet place. It's 10.99 for lunch and a whopping 29.99 for dinner. We went for lunch and enjoyed some jambalaya, grilled fish, clam strips, deviled crabs, and your typical (read: poor) American salad offerings. I didn't feel cheated at the price but would have for any more than 10.99. The decor is straight 70's all the way. Walk through the doors and step back in time. So, if you like American style buffets with seafood, you'll probably like this place. If you prefer any type of dining (as opposed to simply eating) skip out on Bishops.

This buffet is just ok. The price isn't terrible for an all you can eat crab leg buffet. The crab legs were delicious but the rest of the buffet was just okay at best. The staff was very friendly and polite.

Food was just ok and that's being kind. Our server kept spilling our drinks. The only reason I gave them 3 stars was the crab legs, that's all that saved this place. $30 for adults and $16 for kids is a little much for crab legs though.

After much discussion and perusing the tourist magazines about where to eat in PC, we settled on this place. It was not a good decision. We went in for a late lunch right before 2pm and honestly, I think that had nothing to do with what we saw at the buffet. First impression was the aroma in the restaurant upon entering... very fishy. We disregarded and proceeded to enter and be seated. Upon looking at the buffet selection, I'm still wondering why I put anything on my plate. There wasn't one thing there that was fresh. Everything was mush like it had been sitting there for a week. The fish... I seriously had to question whether or not it was a piece of plastic fish. The meatballs... disintegrated in your mouth.... like ash. gross! The spaghetti was a color I'd never seen before.. brownish. The salad was ok but it was definitely from a bag. I skipped the majority of items because there was a film on most of it. I am still wondering why we didn't turn around and walk out. Seriously. The dessert bar was as inedible as the food bar. I'm not sure how a person messes up a cookie but even the cookies tasted stale. This is honestly the first dessert bar that I've ever come across that I couldn't find something that was appetizing. Usually, there is something that is good. The best item on the buffet was the fried shrimp. It was edible but nothing great. I'm not sure when my standards became edible vs inedible. The salad was also ok but nothing special. The worst part was the bill. It was beyond my comprehension that we just dropped $60 on food that was far worse than a fast food restaurant like Captain's D and probably 3x as much in price. The wait-staff was very nice and I felt bad for him that he had to hear us complain literally the entire meal. It was one awful bite after another. For future patrons, run don't walk out of there. It is shocking to me that this place is in business. It is clear that it is the unknowing tourists that keep them afloat. We ate at three different places in search of good seafood and came up short each time. Next visit to PCB, we will go to a finer seafood restaurant, spend more, but at least the food will be worth it. Bishops was by far the worst restaurant that I've ever eaten in. It belongs on Kitchen Nightmares and I won't be one bit surprised if I ever see it on there.

Food was ok, nothing to warrant $30 each unless you are going to fill up on crab legs. Would probably prefer to go elsewhere if given a choice.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday--place was nearly empty. The food was your normal feed of the trough cuisine. I've had better from a frozen breakfast platter thrown into the microwave. The biscuits and gravy had a weird taste. It was $10 bucks a person and totally not worth it. Do yourself a favor and stick with Waffle House. The only thing that made me give one more star was the very outgoing foreign waiter!

I went with my family , we had been an hour looking for a place to eat when we settled on bishops. 2 adults 2 children 108.00 and even the fried foods were dry. lesson learned
